SEO Agency
An SEO agency is the team that manages technical foundations, content and authority together so a brand is visible in Google and in AI search. Digitruva runs this work end to end. GEO is not a separate add-on. It is part of the SEO plan.
Get a QuoteWhat do SEO services include?
SEO services include technical SEO, content, authority and GEO work. If crawlers cannot reach a page, its content stays invisible. If the content does not answer the question, links cannot carry it. That is why the four areas are set up as one project.
Technical SEO
We find crawling, indexing, site structure, Core Web Vitals and structured data issues, prioritize them and make sure they get fixed. The audit is delivered as a task list that spells out the impact and the fix for every finding.
Content
We build a topic and page plan around search intent, produce new content and update existing pages. For local queries tied to a service area, our local SEO service steps in.
Authority
We review your link profile and run editorial work that earns links and brand mentions on trusted sites. Links are never bought, and the work stays within the limits of Google's spam policies.
GEO / AI visibility
We shape your content structure and brand information so ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews cite your brand as a source. Alongside rankings, we also track citations and brand mentions.
Which SEO service fits which need?
Not every brand needs end-to-end execution. These three services focus on a specific need or complement the main engagement.
Expert-led SEO consulting
Your in-house team does the implementation, while Digitruva sets the order and reviews the changes.
GEO and AEO optimization
Works to make your brand a source in AI answers and measures progress against a fixed question set.
An AI visibility audit of your brand
Measures brand mentions, citations and competitor share, and shows where to start.
What is off the table in authority work?
Link acquisition is done through editorial means only. The link spam section of Google's spam policies explicitly covers the practices below.
- Buying or selling links to influence rankings
- Running link exchanges as a systematic practice
- Publishing guest posts at scale with keyword-stuffed anchor text
- Using link networks or sites built only to host links
- Placing hidden or irrelevant links in footers or templates
In what order does an SEO engagement run?
First the current state is measured, then the technical foundation is fixed, and content and authority are built on top of it. The findings from each step set the priorities for the next.
We measure where you stand
The technical audit, ranking queries, competitors and AI answers are gathered in a single table.
We fix the technical foundation
Crawling and speed issues come first, and structured data is added after. Every fix is checked again once it goes live.
We produce content under one plan
Topic clusters are built around search intent, and every page answers the question in its first paragraph.
We strengthen authority
Link and brand mention work is built on pages that are worth citing.
We report and update the plan
Organic traffic, conversions and rankings are reported together with citations and brand mentions.
Questions to ask before hiring an SEO agency
What does an SEO agency do?
An SEO agency is a specialist firm that handles the technical, content and authority work needed to make a site more visible in search engines. The term SEO company describes the same service model.
What sets an agency apart from a freelance consultant is that it does not stop at recommendations. It also carries out the work: crawl errors get fixed, pages get written, links get earned and results get reported. A good agency's output is not a report file but changes actually made on the site.
If you want to keep implementation in-house, expert-led SEO consulting is a better fit. When choosing, it helps to ask what the agency measures, who does the implementation and which decisions the report contains.
Should you hire an SEO agency or keep SEO in-house?
It depends on your company's implementation capacity and how complex the site is. If you have developers, editors and SEO know-how in-house, running SEO internally keeps the knowledge in the company. But it is hard for one specialist to carry technical infrastructure, content, links and measurement at the same time.
An agency brings these four areas together in one team, though it takes time to learn your company's processes. In the first meeting, Digitruva maps out who can implement what and scopes in only the work that cannot be covered internally.
A common middle ground is a hybrid model: content is produced in-house, while technical audits and prioritization come from outside. Whichever model you choose, site access and account ownership should stay with your company.
How long does SEO take to show results?
There is no single honest timeline, because results depend on the site's starting point, competition in your industry and the type of work being done. Technical fixes show up relatively early as pages are recrawled.
New content and authority work build up more slowly. Progress on highly competitive queries takes longer than on long-tail queries. That is why, in the early period, you should watch leading indicators before rankings: the number of indexed pages, growth in impressions and newly ranking queries.
At the start of the engagement, Search Console data is recorded and every report is compared against that baseline using the same metrics. In its guide to hiring an SEO, Google states plainly that no one can guarantee a number one ranking, so treat any proposal that makes that promise with caution.
What determines the cost of SEO services?
The amount of work involved drives the cost more than the page count does. An e-commerce site with heavy technical debt and a ten-page corporate site do not require the same effort.
The competitiveness of target queries, the volume of content to produce, the scope of authority work, the number of languages and who handles implementation all affect the price. Whether GEO and AI visibility measurement are in scope is another factor.
Packages priced on a ranking guarantee or a fixed number of links do not describe the work accurately, and purchased links fall under Google's spam policies. When a proposal is prepared, the current state is reviewed first, then deliverables are listed item by item. Scope and timeline are also set in the proposal. That way you can see why each piece of work is in scope and compare different proposals on the same basis.
What is the difference between SEO and GEO?
SEO aims to get a page ranked in search results, and its success is measured in rankings, impressions and clicks. GEO, or Generative Engine Optimization, aims to get content used as a source in the answers generated by surfaces such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews.
The foundation is the same: you need a crawlable site, content that answers the question clearly and a recognized entity. Google's documentation on AI features also builds on standard SEO practices for AI Overviews and AI Mode. The GEO service page covers the details.
The real difference is in measurement. Search Console counts this traffic in the Web report, while citations and brand mentions in other answer engines have to be tracked separately. Running GEO and AEO optimization inside the same plan, instead of setting up a separate AI project, avoids duplicated work.
Which metrics should an SEO report track?
A good SEO report tracks more than a list of rankings, because rankings vary by person and location. It reads impressions, clicks and query data from Search Console, plus organic conversions and revenue from GA4.
Branded and non-branded queries should be separated. Otherwise, growth in brand awareness looks like SEO success. The share of indexed pages and Core Web Vitals show technical health.
Digitruva also adds citations and brand mentions to its reports and ends every report with one question: which work should move up next period? A report that produces decisions rather than a list of numbers points the team's time at the right work.
